Ultimate Snake Eyes

Post by Faust on Sat Jul 05, 2014 9:48 pm

Parts List:
Heads: Snake Eyes v25, modified (2005)
         Snake Eyes v2 (1985)
Torso: Armadillo (1988)
Arms: Ghost Rider (1988)
Upper Legs: Grunt v8 (2005)
Lower Legs: Dogfight (1989)

The holster is from a 25th Lady Jaye I think. The WEB gear is off a 25th Snake Eyes and Clutch from the VAMP. The accessories all come from the modern era stuff (such crap figures, but great accessories), except one of the Uzis and scimitar. I made the sheath for the scimitar by clipping a coffee stirrer with nail clippers. The nail clippers actually pinched the end shut so I did not have to glue it or anything.

I guess this still counts as a WIP because I need to attach the scimitar sheath to the v2 WEB gear as well as putting that knife and sheath on the right lower leg. I am also going to put a Vintage backpack peg to the ninjato scabbard.

Any other suggestions, fellas?

Totally dig your version. Nice to see the ME accesories used properly Smile

What parts did you use?

Most excellent! I need to get some parts off of ebay and start customizing (at least LBC-ing it).

I can't believe I forgot the recipe. I edited the original post so it now includes the list.

Now that I look at it, I think the holster strap on the left thigh looks a little too thick now. Y'all think I should sand it down some, or is it good as is?

By the way Rambo, I think being asked what parts were used is the best compliment a customizer can get. It means I did a good job at making the parts not so recognizable as they originally were. Thank you for the compliment!

It is a great job. I would buy it in a minute.
